Opposite Hobie Beach, this is P.E.'s best beachfront option, with a well-respected restaurant, The Bell, serving classic French cuisine in an old-fashioned atmosphere. It's also adjacent to the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World (which has a number of restaurant choices) and within walking distance of Humewood Beach's museum complex. Service is relatively good; but the decor is of the bland-hotel type -- you could be anywhere in the world, probably on a conference. If you like traveling in style, the Hacklewood is where you should be.
