Within walking distance of Palm Beach and a 15-minute drive northeast of Castries, this is the smaller of the three Sandals properties on St. Lucia, and it has fewer facilities. But you can always take the free 15-minute minibus ride to Sandals Regency St. Lucia if you want to use the nine-hole golf course. Sandals "stay at one, play at three" program allows you to use the extensive facilities at Sandals Grande St. Lucian or Sandals regency St. Lucia. Guest rooms come in a wide range of categories, usually with a king-size mahogany four-poster bed. Each room has a full bathroom with a tub and shower. The food is copious but not of the highest quality. The best place to dine is the Pier Restaurant, a West Indian-style restaurant atop a 45m (148-ft.) pier. Children, singles, and gay and lesbian couples are not permitted.
