Spokane's original small, luxury boutique hotel offers extravagantly appointed guestrooms with 14 ft ceilings. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily and a hosted wine & champagne social from 4pm - 6pm. Lusso is Italian for luxury, so the hotel is both aptly named and designed; the generous use of Italian marble, tile, detailed scroll work and elegant archways say it all. The Mediterranean theme is carried through to the intimate and contemporary Cavallino Lounge as well as the award-winning Fugazzi Restaurant featuring steak & seafood. The hotel is located next to one of the nation's largest skywalk systems linking shops, restaurants and places of entertainment in Downtown Spokane.

Until the recent reopening of the Davenport Hotel, across the street, this was the most luxurious hotel in Spokane. Although far less ostentatious than the Davenport, the Lusso is nearly as luxurious. Affecting a sort of contemporary Italianate styling, this boutique hotel has a very posh European feel. Because the hotel was created from two existing buildings, the rooms here are all a little bit different. Some of the standard rooms can be a bit small, but upgrades are possible in $20 increments. We'd suggest opting to upgrade one or two levels. Most of the rooms have 12- to 14-foot ceilings that make even the smallest rooms feel big. For a splurge, there are the penthouse suites, which have deluxe bathrooms with double whirlpool tubs surrounded by walls of glass. The hotel's Fugazzi restaurant is one of Spokane's hippest and best restaurants. There's also a separate lounge and a complimentary reception each afternoon.
