This family-run establishment doesn't skimp anywhere. The lobby and adjacent library filled with English country style: comfortable chairs, fireplace, and sumptuous furnishings offers the first clue. Guest rooms, too, though standard in layout are richly furnished with thoughtful touches -- such as the curved shower curtain rods that provide more elbowroom. Some of the rooms are part of a 1960s-era motel, but they are cleverly disguised and set in a soothing garden. Rooms in the newer section are equally well appointed but somewhat larger. Choose from standard rooms, junior suites with spacious seating areas, king rooms with fireplace and whirlpool tubs, or full apartments. One pool is set aside for adults only. A second one with deck is for families. A full-service spa completes the luxury. Concierge-level suites are also available.
