In the historic, business and banking heart of Geneva, walking distance to shopping, lake shore park and Grand Theatre. Nearby art galleries, antique dealers and multinational companies. UN and Red Cross sites at 5 km, 1 km to railway station and motor way exit, PALEXPO and airport at 7 km.
This little charmer of a Belle Epoque boutique hotel lies on a Left Bank street 3 blocks south of the river and about a 12-minute stroll from the center and the lake. Although it can hardly match the style and glamour of the lakeside palaces, it is attractive in its modest way with everything from stained glass to Art Nouveau bed frames. In its category, it offers some of the most reasonable prices in Geneva, especially considering its style. Rising five floors, it has such touches as leather-clad armchairs and a summertime sidewalk cafe. Bedrooms are midsize with lots of extras, including soundproofing and spacious bathrooms. We prefer the rooms in the "attic," with their beams, rooftop vistas, and sloping walls.
