A block from the Convention Centre, the Charter House undertook a complete renovation in 2002 and offers new, moderately priced rooms in the center of the city. A third of the rooms are designed for business travelers, with king-size beds, lots of work space, and a separate sitting area. All rooms not only have high-speed Internet access but also each feature an in-room computer and monitor. Half the rooms have balconies. Facilities include the Rib Room steakhouse, a lively pub with pool tables and fast food, and exercise equipment. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.
