This place imitates the older and more upscale resorts nearby. Sprawled over 800 landscaped acres, it combines aspects of a retirement community with a family-friendly resort. Most people stay 3 to 5 days.
After registering in a woodsy bungalow near the entrance, you'll be waved off towards your accommodations, to which you carry your own bags. If you're looking for maximum isolation, this place might be appropriate; otherwise, you might feel it's too anonymous. All guest rooms contain well-maintained bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. Each suite contains a kitchenette. There's a golf course on the premises, and views over some beautiful marshland from many of the simply furnished units. The nearest good beach is about 4 miles away.
