Most of the tired hikers and canyon rim gazers visiting Bryce Canyon National Park stay at this large Best Western, and with good reason -- this is where practically everything is happening. The lobby, with a stone fireplace and a western motif of animal head trophies and American Indian blankets, is among the busiest places in the area. It boasts tour desks where you can arrange excursions of all sorts, from horseback and all-terrain-vehicle rides to helicopter flights; you're welcome to stop by and schedule activities even if you're not staying at the hotel.
Spread among nine buildings, the modern motel rooms contain art that depicts scenes of the area, wood furnishings, and shower/tub combos. Deluxe units, located in the main building, have either jetted tubs or two-person jetted spas. Rooms at the back of the complex will be a bit quieter, but farther from the lobby.
In addition to all the amenities listed below, this place also has a 1-hour film processing store, an ATM, a Western Art gallery, a U.S. Post Office, and two gas stations.
Facilities: Restaurant; 2 indoor pools; 1 indoor and 1 outdoor Jacuzzi; cross-country ski trails; game room; concierge; multiple activities desks; car-rental desk; courtesy transportation from the Bryce Airport; business center; salon; huge general store; small liquor store; 2 coin-op laundries.
